Deregulation, AI and Climate Change – The Critical Role of Safety Reps Into the Future
Equal Pay
GMB Union held a presentation on Tuesday 21 January to honour the contribution and service of Graham Hayden.
Graham joined GMB in March 1973 when he was working at Jentique Furniture. He became what was then known as a shop steward, representing the union in his workplace.
In 1985 he went to work for a conservatory company, and then for Wayland High School (late Wayland Academy) until he retired.
He has been an active member of Mid Norfolk Labour Party, attending Regional Council as a GMB Delegate and was until recently President of the East Dereham Branch.
His health has unfortunately caused Graham to scale back his activities as he is no longer able to hold posts. However, he remains a committed member of the union and continues to join online Branch meetings, where his presence is highly valued.
