Welcome to
GMB Ability
GMB London Region are extremely proud of our Equality Strand Groups and Regional and Local Equality Forums, we now have five of our six equality strand groups up and running.
We are a newly established self-organised forum of like-minded empowered self-defined disabled people actively campaigning against and questioning stereotypes surrounding disability in the workplace, challenging employers to look past the ‘dis’ un disability and to look at the [ability] of the person.
Striving for the day when as self-defined people we will not be judged by our disability but by the strength of our character and our [ability] to get the job done. If you need help with workplace issues, concerns or problems, we will do our best to offer you advice.
If you haven’t already completed the equality survey and would like to get information from this group please click here.
